28th May 2023 04:00hrs – 06:00hrs – Network Infrastructure Upgrade – The advanced network services team shall be conducting network infrastructure upgrade to facilitate additional bandwidth capacity across our backbone internet network infrastructure.

3rd May 2023 00:25 – 02:55 Broadband and Telecommunications Outage – The network advanced services team identified a failure on one of our core internet routers which caused loss of internet peering with our upstream IP transit providers. Network diversity and resiliency across our internet backbone network took place which established a redundant path, due to engineering configuration identified on one of our backup IP transit routers associated with other upstream IP transits and BGP peering with other IP transit carriers. Further investigation took place with our IP transit carriers which discovered network routing across the internet was not using the best optimal path which would cause some customers to have experienced a loss of internet and telecommunications service. We sincerely apologise for the loss of service which may have been experienced during the timeframe of the incident.

10th April 2023 : 00:00 – 04:00hrs IP Transit Router Software Update – There shall be software updates applied to vendor recommended software release. Customers may experience intermittent connectivity during broadband network reconvergence taking place across our backbone network.

29th January 2023: 04:00 – 06:00hrs IT Infrastructure Updates – IT infrastructure team shall be conducting formal maintenance updates on all server infrastructure within our network. Our approach for the infrastructure update is to ensure we continue to provide a stable functioning service to all customers by proactively eliminating any down time on our core network or potential defects which may occur in the future. The IT infrastructure team shall be performing maintenance updates including validation checks in sequence ensuring business continuity remains operational. Customers may experience a loss of internet service for up to two seconds whilst maintenance and high availability switch over occurs.

12th March 2022: 00:00 – 03:00hrs Routine Maintenance Upgrade – The advanced network services team is performing routine maintenance upgrade to add more capacity onto our backbone network. Service impacted by routine maintenance upgrade are Internet Service, Cloud Telephony, Mobile Broadband, Video Conferencing. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to your service.

21st October 2021 – Emergency Network Maintenance: To troubleshoot a potential network issue identified, we shall need to reload one of our network equipment. Start Time: 21/10/2021 22:00 BST,End Time: 22/10/2021 04:00 BST. Expected downtime: 15mins (Timeline of 6Hours in case any unforeseen issue arises.)

Broadband Outage: Customers would have experienced a loss of broadband service on Friday 2nd July 2021 between 00:06 to 00:10. The root cause was due to a loss of internet network peering at Telehouse North data center point of presence. We identified several broadband circuits established authentication onto our radius server and discovered other broadband circuits was still impacted by the loss of internet network peering. Our engineers took the action to manually reset some customers ADSL broadband ports which allowed sessions to re-establish and authenticate onto our radius server. We sincerely apologise for any disruption this may have caused.
